Care Share, in partnership with Faith Church, provides Christmas gifts for children in the Putnam City School District, helping financially struggling parents create a joyful holiday. Upon completing this registration, you will receive an email from Faith Church with a link to apply for Care Share. After submitting the application, you will receive details from Connie Rowlett, the Care Share Coordinator, including the names, wish lists, and school information for the children you will shop for. Notably, gifts purchased will be distributed to parents, allowing them to surprise their children without revealing the source.
Shopping Instructions:
- Limit of $75 per child; please ensure equality among all recipients.
- Acceptable gifts include new toys, clothing, and personal items (no bikes or electronics).
- Remove all price tags and do not wrap gifts, although rolls of wrapping paper may be provided optionally.
- Label each child’s gifts with their school, family number, name, and age (e.g., Arbor Grove, Family #20, Peter, age 6).
- Gifts for parents are optional, and no wish lists for them will be provided.
Delivery Instructions:
- Deliver gifts from Monday, December 9, to Friday, December 13, between 9:00 am and 2:30 pm at the school of the youngest child.
- Note that if school is canceled due to weather, gifts cannot be delivered; counselors will work with parents to arrange pickup.
- Please note, gifts will not be dropped off at Faith Church like in years past.
